Thirty-five years ago…
Grandmaster Julius Melegrito arrived in America with little more than determination and a dream.
His first job was as a janitor at the No Frills grocery store in the very shopping plaza where Martial Arts International’s Worldwide Headquarters now stands.
Through faith, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to developing leaders and serving families, that dream grew into something greater than he ever imagined.

For 27 years, Martial Arts International has developed leaders, strengthened families, and served the Bellevue community. This ceremony marks the official ribbon cutting of our Worldwide Headquarters and the dedication of two permanent spaces in honor of leaders who served with distinction.

Purple Heart recipient, student, and instructor. Noah was preparing to return home and devote more of his time to teaching. His legacy of service, humility, and leadership will continue to inspire every student who trains here.
